Why hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a pleasant state of consciousness that occurs normally in every person several times a day, eg when relaxing in bed for an extra ten minutes while not asleep nor actively awake, or when dreaming. Therapeutic hypnosis is absolutely harmless and yet an effective tool in achieving what you want.
A simple definition of hypnosis as it relates to hypnotherapy is a naturally occurring altered state of consciousness in which the critical faculty is bypassed (mind in the conscious mode) and acceptable selective thinking established.
Some people are put off by the idea of using hypnosis – whether they don’t believe in it, or perhaps a hang-over fear from the Dark Ages when people who practiced hypnosis were burned at the stake.
Well, they don’t burn people for that nowadays, and hypnosis works whether you believe in it or not.
Hypnosis is a convenient tool that is offered for you to get the changes you want in a huge range of issues.
