  Dr Brenda Kaye BVSc. MEd.

Brenda is a qualified counsellor and member of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors, and a member of the American Board of Hypnotherapy. She has been working professionally as a counsellor on the West Coast of the South Island for the past 12 years.

Brenda works in a number of modalities such as Solution Focussed Counselling and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), where appropriate, along with Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) and Hypnotherapy.

  With these tools to promote you own resourcefulness, Brenda can support you to overcome whatever challenges,   such as negative emotions and unhealthy beliefs, that may be preventing you from achieving a full, enjoyable life.

Brenda has a Master of Education (with distinction) degree and Certificate in Counselling, and a Diploma in Hypnotherapy. She has been studying and practicing Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) since 1993; and is an NLP Masterpractioner and Trainer.

Brenda is also a registered Veterinary Surgeon and has a Veterinary Acupuncture diploma, and uses allopathic, nutritional, needle and non-needle (laser) therapy with animals for a wide range of diseases in her Reefton clinic.

Brenda was one of a contingent of seven New Zealand Hypnotherapist to travel to Sydney to study the Virtual Gastric Banding Programme with Sheila Granger earlier in September 2012. The diet free weight loss programme has been offered since January this year.

Brenda has also recently completed Des Schinnick’s Rapid Depression Treatment training. This exciting breakthrough, a New Zealand innovation,  enables people to lift their depression in just one 90 minute visit.
